Grandma Pratt's Poetry

Hey there everyone,
Just so you know, I now have grandma's poetry typed up. You all should've received an e-mail from me with the attachment. I don't know how to transfer it to the blog yet. As soon as I figure that out, it will be on the family blog.

lots of love,

Just thought I would share this idea..

PREPAREDNESS....
$5.00 a Week Food Storage
This is a basic food storage plan that will sustain life for two people for one year. Feel free to tailor the program to your family’s tastes or needs. In addition to the outlined products, store a container of water each week.
The program: Each week take $5.00 and buy the specified items for that week. Some weeks you will not use all of the $5.00 and some weeks you will use more than $5.00. Plan to set aside $5.00 each week regardless. There are also a few weeks you will have nothing to buy, but set aside the money for those weeks as well. By the end of the 52 weeks you will have 700 lbs of wheat, 240 lbs of sugar, 40 lbs of powdered milk, 13 lbs of salt, 10 lbs of honey, 5 lbs of peanut butter, 45 cans of tomato soup, 32 cans of mushroom soup, 15 cans of tuna fish, 10 boxes of macaroni and cheese, 500 aspirin, 730 multiple vitamins, 6 lbs of dried yeast, and 6 lbs of shortening. Remember to rotate and replenish what you use.
Remember to add $5.00 for every additional two people in your family. You do not necessarily need to purchase these items in the week listed. If you find the items in week 17 on sale, buy them and move the current week’s items to week 17.

Thankful Sunday....

Today has been a good day, just wanted to post a quick note.

Things to be thankful for.

1. To have my computer working again, I don't think that I could survive without it, a week and a half was way tooo long!

2. My boys, they are so cute, they are always keeping me laughing, they mean the world to me and I feel so blessed to have them in my life, things just wouldn't been the same without them, Nathaniel's persistence, and love of learning, he is so funny he will tell you that he doesn't want to do something but the minute that he does he loves every minute of it. Caleb and he's sweet smile, he is my little love, he's always running up hugging and giving you kisses, he's curiosity to see how everything works, not to mention he is a little monkey boy. Two of the biggest treasures of my life.

3. My sweet husband James, the love of my life, what would I do without him, he would do anything for me, and I would do anything for him. He is so good with the boys, they adore spending as much time with him as they can.

4. Having the gospel in my life.

5. Prayer and Scriptures.

6. Warmer weather. (hopefully it will stay warmer.)

Bubble Fun....

On Sunday we went outside to play, the boys had fun with the bubbles, Caleb chased the bubbles while Nathaniel blew them, it was such a beautiful day to be outside. Just wanted to tell everyone hello take care..

James and I were trying to make a funny face, but didn't turn out so funny.
